1 chopped onion 2 large cans tomato paste 1 large can tomato sauce 8 c. water 1 tsp salt 1/2 tsp pepper 2 Tbsp sugar garlic mashed 1/2-1 tsp oregano sweet basil 1 lb ground meat 1 tsp. salt 1/2 tsp pepper 1 tsp garlic powder 2 Tbsp grated celery parsley 1/2 c. bread crumbs 1/4-1/2 c. Parmesan cheese 2 eggs
Saute chopped onion in small amount of olive oil. Combine with tomatoe paste, tomato sauce, water, 1 tsp salt, 1/2 tsp pepper, sugar, mashed garlic, oregano and sweet basil. Cook for 2 hours. Combine rest of ingredients for meat balls. Scoop up with 1/2 cup measuring cup. Shape balls. Drop in sauce and cook 1 hour more. Makes 8-10 meatballs.
