1 c. sugar
3 T. flour
1/2 tsp. cinnamon
1 egg
1 c. whipping cream

Streusel Topping:
1/3 c. sugar
1/4 c. brown sugar
1/2 c. plus 2 T. flour
1 tsp. cinnamon
1 tsp. grated fresh nutmeg
Pinch of salt
1/2 c. butter-chilled
1/2 c. chopped walnuts

Prepare pie crust and put in 10 inch pie plate. Add 4 c. peeled and sliced apples. Granny Smiths are the best! Pour filling over apples. Bake 45 min. @ 350. Prepare streusel and pour over pie. Bake another 30-40 min.

Pie tends to bake over. Put a cookie sheet below the pie when baking or cut back on the amount of butter in the topping.
