8 c. flour
2 pkg. fast-rise yeast
1 tbsp. salt
3 tbsp. olive oil
2 c. warm water
3 links Italian sausage
Green pepper, diced
Mushrooms, sliced
Parmesan cheese, grated
Mozzarella cheese, grated

1 (28 oz) can of tomato sauce
Salt & pepper
Parmesan cheese
Medium onion, chopped
Garlic powder

To make crust: Dissolve yeast in 1 cup warm water. Mix flour and salt in bowl. Make a well and pour in oil. Add yeast mixture and mix thoroughly. Add other cup of water; knead in Kitchen Aid mixer for 5 to 10 minutes on 3 or 4. Place bowl in warm place and let the dough rise until doubled in size (about 1 to 1-1/2 hours).

Divide dough into 2 balls. Lightly grease two cookie sheets (I use 13x17"). Roll out dough to the size of pans, about 1/8 to 1/4" thick, and place on pan. Prick dough lightly all over with a fork.

To make sauce: Sauté onion in a little olive oil, add tomato sauce, Parmesan cheese, salt, pepper, oregano and garlic powder to taste. Simmer for 15 minutes.

Spread sauce on crust, lightly sprinkle Parmesan cheese, add mozzarella cheese, add pre-fried crumbled Italian sausage and sautéed green peppers. Add mushrooms and bake in a preheated 375º oven for 20-25 minutes.

Personal Notes:
Instead of making your own sauce, you can buy canned pizza sauce. Also, you can use other toppings if you want. I remove the sausage from the casing and pre-fry to be sure it's completely cooked.
