2 cups milk
6 T flour (level with a knife)
3 cups sugar
6 egg yolks
1 qt. milk (we use 1 1/2 qt. milk)
1 1/2 qt. cream (we use 1 qt. cream)
6 t vanilla

Directions:
Directions:
Heat 2 cups milk to scalding. Mix sugar and flour together; then add to hot milk and boil 20 minutes. Add egg yolks (well beaten) and cook 3 minutes more. Strain.

Add milk, cream and vanilla. Freeze.
