1 c dry lentils
4 c water
1/2 c chopped onions
1/2 c thinly sliced celery
1/2 c diced carrot
1 bay leaf
1 clove garlic, minced
1 tsp salt
1/8 tsp pepper
1 4-0z can Vienna sausages, bias sliced
lemon slices

Directions:
Directions:
Rinse lentils; drain and place in Dutch oven. Add water, onion, celery, carrot, bay leaf, garlic, salt, and pepper. Cover and simmer 2 hrs. Remove bay leaf. Add sliced sausages; heat through, about 5 mins. Garnish each serving with a few lemon slices.
