2/3 c. butter
2 c. brown sugar
2 c. sifted flour
1 tsp. baking powder
1/4 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. salt
1 c. chopped pecans
Chocolate chips or white chocolate chips

Directions:
Directions:
Melt the butter then add sugar. Cool. Add eggs and vanilla to mixture and blend well. Add sifted dry ingredients gradually. Stir in chopped nuts. Pour mixture into greased & floured 9x9x2" pan. Sprinkle chocolate chips generously on top. Bake at 350 for 20-25 minutes. Cut into squares.
