1/2 Cup Buttermilk
6 TBSP. (3/4 stick) Butter
1 TBSP. Light Corn Syrup
1/2 tsp. Baking Soda
1/2 tsp. Pure Vanilla Extract

Directions:
Directions:
Place the sugar, buttermilk, butter, corn syrup, baking soda, and vanilla in a medium saucepan over medium heat. Bring to a boil, stirring constantly. The galze will foam up and thicken as the sugar dissolves and the butter melts, 3 to 4 minutes. Poke hole in the cooled cake and pour the hot glaze over it.
