1/2 c. butter
1 1/2 c. sugar
2 eggs
1 c. mashed bananas (2 or 3)
1 tsp. vanilla
2 c. flour
1/2 tsp. salt
1 tsp. soda
3/4 c. buttermilk or sour milk

Directions:
Directions:
Cream butter and sugar until frothy, add eggs 1 at a time, beating well after each until light and creamy. Stir in bananas and vanilla. Combine flour, salt and soda, add to first ingredients alternating with buttermilk, beating until well blended. Spread batter evenly in a greased 11 x 15" pan. (I use 9 x 13") Bake at 350 F for 30 minutes or until done. Cool and frost with butter cream frosting.
