8 good sized onion's
1/4 lb butter
10 to 12 Bouillon cubes
salt and pepper
Melba Toast
Parmesan Cheese

Directions:
Directions:
Fry onions until soft. Then put into bouillon broth with should be about 2 quarts worth. Simmer for about a half an hour and serve with Melba Toast and Parmesan Cheese.

(Note from Nana to my Mom on recipe card)Phyllis - I used Spice Island beef stock and we just thought it was fair. Maybe we are too fussy, but how we enjoyed it when Steffie made it.
