1 cup rasins
2 cups boiling water
Let stand for at least 3 hours

1 cup sugar
1 beaten egg
1 Tbsp butter
2 3/4 cups flour
1/4 tsp salt
2 tsp baking soda
1/4 tsp vanilla

Cream sugar, egg and butter together
Mix in flour mixture
Add rasins with water
Add vanilla

Put in 2 #303 cans which have been greased and floured
Bake @ 350 for 1 hour
