10 eggs
3 c. sugar
2 c. Crisco
pinch salt
3 c. sifted cake flour
1 tsp vanilla
1 tsp lemon extract
1 tsp almond extract

Directions:
Directions:
Beat 10 eggs. Add to them 3 cups sugar gradually and set aside.

Cream 2 cups Crisco with pinch salt. Add gradually to this 3 cups sifted cake flour and mix well.

Now pour egg mixture into Crisco mixing well. Add vanilla, lemon extract and almond extract.

Grease and flour large angelfood pan. Heat it 5 minutes before pouring in cake. Bake 1 1/2 hours at 325.

This is Mrs. Kinsel's pound cake recipe. It's delicious. She used to give it to Cathy, Theresa and me toasted with butter for breakfast when we spent the night there.
