1 9 inch pie shell
3/4 cup sugar
3/4 cup white Karo syrup
1/3 stick margarine
3 eggs, slightly beaten
1 tsp. vanilla
1 cup pecans, broken

Directions:
Directions:
Prepare pie shell in 9 inch pie pan. Set aside.

Place sugar, syrup and margarine in a saucepan and heat to point just before bubbling. While heating, slightly beat eggs. Slowly add eggs to syrup mixture stirring constantly so as not to cook eggs. Add vanilla. Pour in unbaked pie shell. Cover with pecans.

Bake 425 for 10 minutes, reduce heat to 300 and bake 20 minutes longer or until firm. Do not overcook.
