6 lb. ground beef or venison
3 tsp. mustard seed
3 tsp. course ground pepper
1 1/2 tsp. garlic salt
1 tsp. hickory smoke salt (optional)
6 tbsp. Morten's tender quick salt (hard to find but it's a must)

Directions:
Directions:
Day 1 - mix all ingredients well and store in refrigerator
Day 2 - mix again
Day 3 - leave and wonder
Day 4 - form into 5 rolls. Place in a shallow pan and bake for 8 hours at 140 degrees on the lowest rack turning a few times.

This recipe is from Freda and great for ground venison. It makes a good snack to serve with cheese and crackers.
