1/2 cup flour
1/2 teaspoon salt
black pepper
1 egg
2 tablespoons water
3/4 cup biscuit mix
2 lb bottom or top round steak (cut into 4 individual portions), pounded well to tenderize
1/3 cup oil

Directions:
Directions:
In shallow pan, sift together flour, salt & pepper.

In another shallow pan, combine egg and water.

In still another shallow pan, place biscuit mix.

Coat steaks in flour mixture, dip in egg mixture, and then coat in baking mix.

In skillet, over medium-high heat, add oil. Add coated steak pieces; fry 4-5 minutes per side until golden brown.
