1/2 lb. butter
1 lb. brown sugar
8 oz. corn syrup
1 can sweetened condensed milk
1/2 tsp. salt
1 tsp. vanilla

Directions:
Directions:
In a double boiler, melt butter. Add rest of ingredients, stirring until temperature reaches 245 F. Remove from heat and pour into buttered cake pan. Cool and cut into small squares. Wrap in waxed paper. You may dip pieces in chocolate.
