1 9" pie shell, baked
2 1/4 cup milk
4 T. cornstarch
3/4 cup sugar
1/8 tsp. salt
Mix together and boil for two minutes

Directions:

Mix together;
4 egg yolks
3/4 cup milk
Then add gradually to above ingredients over medium heat and boil for another 2 minutes.
Remove from heat.
Then add:
1 tsp. vanilla
2 T. butter
1 cup coconut flakes

Pour into pie shell and when cool, top with whip cream and toasted coconut.
