2 cups flour
1 stick oleo
1/2 cup Crisco
1/2 cup sour milk or (1/2 cup milk and 1 tsp vinegar)
2 cup sugar
1/4 cup cocoa
1 cup water
1 tsp. soda
2 eggs
1 tsp. vanilla

Frosting:
1 stick oleo
5 T milk
1/4 cup cocoa
1 tsp. vanilla
1 lb. box powdered sugar
Nuts, if desired

Directions:
Directions:
Preheat oven to 400 degrees, grease cookie sheet. Mix the flour and sugar in a large bowl. Bring to a boil the oleo, Crisco, cocoa and water. Pour hot mixture over flour and sugar. Mix well, then add rest of ingredients. Bake 20 minutes. Pour the frosting over the hot cake.

Frosting: Bring ingredients to a boil, remove from heat and add 1 lb. box powdered sugar. Pour over cake. Add nuts on top, if desired.
