1 head lettuce, shredded
1/2 c chopped celery
1/2 c chopped green onion
1/2 c diced green pepper
1 (10oz) box frozen peas, cooked and drained
1 pt mayonnaise
2 tbsp sugar
8 strips bacon, cooked, drained and crumbled
1/2 c cheddar cheese, grated

Directions:
Directions:
In a large glass bowl, place lettuce, then layers of celery, onion, pepper and peas. Spread mayonnaise to the edges of the bowl, sealing all. Sprinkle sugar, then layer bacon and cheese. Cover tightly with plastic wrap and refrigerate until serving. May be prepared a day ahead of serving.
