4 cups wild blackberries
4 tablespoons plain flour or 2 tablespoons cornstarch
1 - 1 cups sugar
Dash of salt
1 - 1 tablespoon butter, divided
2 unbaked pastry shells

Directions:
Directions:
Line a 9-inch pie plate with pastry (may omit bottom crust). Mix berries, flour, sugar and salt; Pour on top of bottom crust. Dot with butter. Lay on top crust. Spread butter on top crust. Sprinkle with sugar. Bake at 400 for 40 - 50 minutes. (May need to shield edges of crust with foil, so it will not burn.)
