8 green peppers
1-pound ground beef
1 onion, chopped
Green and red pepper, chopped, optional
1 cup cooked rice
1 can tomato sauce
Water, if needed
Salt
Pepper
Pinch of sugar, if needed
teaspoon oregano

Directions:
Directions:
Boil peppers in salted water until tender. Drain and cool. Brown ground beef; add onion and peppers. Cook until tender. Add cooked rice, tomato sauce, salt, pepper, sugar, oregano and may add water, if needed. Fill pepper shells with meat mixture. Sprinkle filled peppers with Parmesan cheese. Bake at 400 for 30 minutes or until hot and brown.
