2½ cups plain flour
½ teaspoon soda
¼ teaspoon salt
1 cup dark brown sugar
½ cup white sugar
1 cup butter
2 large eggs
2 teaspoons vanilla
1 cup chocolate chips
1 cup pecans or walnuts, chopped, optional
1 cup craisins, (omit chocolate chips if using craisins)

Directions:
Directions:
Mix butter and sugars with mixer. Add eggs, vanilla, soda and salt. Mix with mixer. Add flour and chocolate chips or craisins – mix by hand. Scoop out with ice cream scooper and place on cookie sheet 2-inches apart. Bake at 300º for 22 -24 minutes.
