1 cup butter, softened
cup confectioners' sugar
teaspoon vanilla
1 3/4 cup self-rising flour
cup pecans, chopped

Directions:
Directions:
Cream butter and sugar. Add remaining ingredients. Chill 1 hour or more. Shape into balls about the size of a silver dollar or less. Bake 20 minutes at 350 on ungreased cookie sheet. Let cool slightly and roll in confectioners sugar. Repeat when cooled or you may shake in a plastic bag.
