3 sticks butter
8 tablespoons confectioners' sugar
4 cups plain flour
4 teaspoons vanilla
2 tablespoons cream
2 cups nuts, chopped

Directions:
Directions:
Cream butter and sugar. Add vanilla and cream. Add flour, mix well; add nuts. Make or shape into finger lengths. Put on greased cookie sheet. Bake at 300 for 20 minutes or until done.
Roll in powdered sugar if desired.
