1 quart cabbage, chopped
1 teaspoon canning salt
1 teaspoon cider vinegar
Hot water

Directions:
Directions:
Fill jar loosely with raw, chopped cabbage. Add salt and vinegar. Fill jar with hot water to inch of top. Place lid on jar. Kraut will be ready in 7 days.
Pints: Use one-half the amounts for pints.
