1 box yellow cake mix with pudding

Filling:
1 cup milk
3 heaping tablespoons plain flour
1 stick butter, softened
1/4 cup (4 tablespoons) Crisco
1 cup sugar
2 teaspoons vanilla



Directions:
Directions:
Mix and bake 2 layers according to directions on the box. Let cool completely. Split cooled cake layers horizontally to make 4 layers.

Filling:
Mix milk and flour. Cook until thick and let cool.
Mix butter, Crisco, sugar and vanilla and beat 12 minutes. Add the cooled milk and flour mixture and beat 12 more minutes. Spread 1/3 of the mixture between each layer. Do not put on top or the sides.
