1 package yellow cake mix
1 stick butter, melted
1 egg

Filling:
1 - 8-ounce package cream cheese, softened
3 eggs
1 pound powdered sugar (1 pound = 3 cups)

In a 9X13-inch pan melt butter. Cool slightly and mix in egg. Add dry cake mix and stir with fork in the pan. Cover with waxed paper and press down evenly in pan to form a crust. Remove plastic.

Filling:
DO NOT use mixer. In a bowl mix softened cream cheese, eggs and sugar. Spread over first layer in pan and bake at 350 for 30 minutes until lightly browned and firm in the center.
