1 cup packed brown sugar
cup butter
2 tablespoons light corn syrup
2 tablespoons maple syrup
12 - 1-inch slices French bread
1 cups milk
1 teaspoon vanilla
teaspoon salt
6 eggs, beaten
1 apple, peeled, cored and sliced inch (Use Granny Smith, golden delicious or any cooking apple)

Directions:
Directions:
Combine sugar, butter, corn syrup and maple syrup in a small saucepan. Cook until thickened, stirring constantly. Place apple slices on bottom of 9X13X2-inch baking dish. Pour syrup mixture over apples. Place 6 slices of bread on top of syrup. Combine eggs, milk, vanilla and salt. Pour of egg mixture over bread. Place remaining 6 slices of bread on top. Pour the rest of egg mixture on bread. Chill overnight in refrigerator. Bake uncovered at 350 for 40-45 minutes.
