cup unsalted butter, melted
1 cup milk
1 teaspoon vanilla
1 egg, lightly beaten
2 cups flour
2/3 cup sugar
1 tablespoon cinnamon
1 tablespoon baking powder
teaspoon salt

Topping:
4 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted
2/3 cup sugar, combined with cinnamon
1 tablespoon cinnamon

Directions:
Directions:
Grease inside of muffin tin. Preheat oven to 325. Soften butter to room temperature and stir in milk, vanilla and egg. Mix well. Sift together flour, sugar, cinnamon, baking powder and salt. Gradually add liquid mixture to sifted dry ingredients, stirring until just combined. Spoon into muffin tins full. Place on middle rack of oven. Bake for 20-25 minutes until golden brown and test for doneness. Remove muffins from pan and cool on rack. While still hot, dip muffins tops first into melted butter and the cinnamon sugar mixture. Makes 12 muffins.
