1 tablespoon water
1 cup sugar
1 egg white
teaspoon salt
4 cups pecan halves
1 stick butter

Directions:
Directions:
Mix first 4 ingredients in a large bowl. Add pecans and stir until well coated. Heat oven to 300. Melt 1 stick of butter in a large flat pan. Place pecans evenly in pan and roast for about 30 minutes. Watch carefully so they do not burn. Separate occasionally with a fork or spatula.
