2 artichokes
2-3 teaspoons garlic powder
stick butter, melted

Directions:
Directions:
Remove lower tough leaves from artichoke. Trim and cut stem. Wash. Boil in salted water generously seasoned with garlic powder. Drain. As you eat, pull off leaf, dip in melted butter and pull between teeth.

Will keep in refrigerator for several days. Great cut in half, rubbed with oil and placed on the grill.













remove the tough purple leaves and choke in the top center of the artichoke. They protect the heart. May enjoy hot or cold.
