6 medium green peppers
1 lb. ground beef
1/4 c. chopped onion
1 (11 oz.) can whole kernel corn drained
1 (8 oz.) can tomato sauce
1 c. cooked rice
1/4 c. steak sauce
1/4 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. pepper

Cut tops off of peppers, and remove seeds. In a large kettle over medium-high heat, cook peppers in boiling water for 3-5 minutes. Drain and rinse in cold water; set aside.
In a large skillet, cook beef until no longer pink, drain, add onion, and saute. Add remaining ingredients and mix well. Loosely stuff into peppers. Place in a 9" square baking dish. Bake uncovered at 350 F for 30-35 minutes or until peppers are done and filling is hot.

I have turned this into more of a casserole. I make the filling, then take about 4 peppers, cut into large pieces, and stir them into filling. Then I bake in a casserole for about 45 minutes - 1 hour at 350 F.
