4 c. medium strawberries, hulled and quartered
1 c. sliced peaches (optional)
1/3 to 1/2 c. sugar
1 tbsp. cornstarch
1/3 c. orange juice
1 tbsp. lime juice

Biscuit topping:
1 c. all-purpose flour
3 tbsp. sugar, divided
1-1/2 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. salt
3 tbsp. butter, cut into pieces
1/2 c. buttermilk

Directions:
Directions:
Preheat oven to 350. To prepare filling, combine strawberries and next 5 ingredients in a medium bowl; stir well. Spoon strawberry mixture into a 10" deep dish pie plate or 11x7" baking dish coated with non-stick spray.

To prepare biscuit topping, combine flour, 2 tbsp. sugar, baking powder, and salt. Add butter, working with your fingers until mixture resembles coarse meal. Stir in buttermilk. Drop dough by tablespoons over strawberry mixture. Sprinkle with remaining sugar. Bake 25 minutes or until strawberry mixture is bubbly and biscuits are browned.

I have actually made this and completely forgot the buttermilk. Amazingly, it still tasted very good! Also, I typically don't add the peaches.
