3# Ground Beef
2 T. Shortening
1 c. Onion, chopped
1 c. Celery, diced
1 Green Pepper
1 clove Garlic, minced
2 T. Worcestershire Sauce
1 c. Ketchup
3 Beef Bouillon Cubes, crushed
t. Paprika
t. Pepper
1 - 6 oz. can Tomato Paste
1 c. Water
3 T. Vinegar
3 t. Brown Sugar
1 t. Dry Mustard

Directions:
Heat shortening in skillet and brown meat, discard fat. Combine all ingredients in crock-pot 'liner', stirring well. Place liner into crock-pot base. Cover and cook on low for 6-8 hours or high for 3-4 hours. Serve over warmed hamburger buns or hot buttered noodles.
