2/3 c sugar
2/3 c oil (Aunt Gail says only Crisco)
1 c vinegar
1 tsp celery seed
1 head cabbage, shredded
1/2 carrot, shredded

Directions:
Directions:
Mix the sugar, oil, vinegar and celery seed in a small pot and bring to a rolling boil. Boil hard for 2 minutes and then pour over cabbage and carrot while it is hot.

This can be stored in bowls or jars for 3 weeks in the fridge.
