2 Granny Smith Apples
2 pkgs Crescent Rolls
2 Sticks Butter
2 C Sugar
1-2 tsp Cinnamon
1 tsp Vanilla
10 oz Mountain Dew

Peel Apples. Cut apples into 8 slices. (You can microwave apples for 2 min if you like). Melt butter and pour over sugar; add vanilla and cinammon to mixture. Unwrap crescent rolls; take each triangle, add a slice of apple, covering all with dough. Place each dumpling in sugar and butter mixture. Dough should stay closed while baking. Personal Notes:
I found it to be quite sweet and have cut back on the sugar by 1/2 C. Also, I try and find large GS apples. You really have to stretch the dough, but it will cover.
