1/2 c. butter
1/2 c. shortening
1 1/2 c. brown sugar (or 1 c. brown sugar & 1/2 c. sugar)
2 well beaten eggs
1/4 c. orange juice
1 tbsp. grated orange peel
1 tsp. vanilla
1 c. sour milk
3 1/2 c. flour
2 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. soda
1/4 tsp. salt
1 c. chopped walnuts

Directions:
Directions:
Mix all ingredients. Drop by teaspoon and bake at 350 for 10 min. Make a white butter frosting using powdered sugar, orange juice, grated orange peel, and butter. Frost each cookie.
