Ingredients:
1 pkg phyllo dough
1 1/2 sticks butter
2 c chopped walnuts or pecans
2 1/2 c of sugar
2 tsp cinnamon
1 c water
1/2 c honey
1 T lemon juice

Directions:
Directions:
Preheat oven to 350. Mix together nuts, 1/2 c sugar and cinnamon. Melt butter. Brush a 9x13" oven safe dish with butter. Unfold dough. Remove 2 phyllo sheets (keeping the rest covered so as to not dry out) and place in bottom of dish. Brush with butter. Add 2 more sheets and brush with butter. Sprinkle with 1/2 c of nut mixture. Repeat the phyllo sheets, butter and nut mixture. Do this until no more ingredients are left making sure to top with 2-3 sheets. Using a sharp knife, score the dough in squares and then each square a triangle. Bake 45 minutes.

Meanwhile, in saucepan combine the water, 2 c of sugar, honey and lemon juice. Heat to a boil and then cook on low for 10 minutes. Cool until Baklava is out of oven. Immediately pour hot syrup, slowly, over hot dough, covering completely. Let cool 2 hours and cut on score marks.
