1/2 c warm water
2 pkg yeast
1 c milk
1 stick butter
1/2 c sugar
2 eggs, beaten
5 c flour
1 tsp salt

FILLING:
1 c sugar
1 tsp cinnamon
2 T flour
Nuts, optional
2 T oil (or enough to make consistency of sand. It should be just slightly moist).

FROSTING:
2 c confectioners sugar
1 stick butter
Hot water
1/4 tsp vanilla or butter pecan flavoring
Add hot water a little at a time to remaining ingredients. Mix and spread on hot rolls.

Add yeast to water in large mixing bowl. Heat milk and 1 stick butter in microwave for 1 minute or until butter is soft. Beat eggs and add to milk mixture. Add sugar and salt. Mix in flour; stir until all ingredients are well mixed. Cover and let stand until dough doubles, about 1 hour. Dough will be sticky. Stir down the dough; cover and let stand another hour. Turn dough onto floured board and roll out to approximately 20". Spread with melted butter and filling. Roll dough into a rope; slice in 1/2 to 3/4" slices and place apart on greased sheet. Let stand one hour or until doubled. Bake at 400 for 12-15 minutes. Remove and spread thin icing over top.
