1/2 cup margarine 1 1/2 cups brown sugar 2 eggs 1 cup buttermilk 2 tblsp. baking soda 1/2 tsp. salt 2 1/2 cups flour 1/2 cup chopped nuts(optional)
mix shortening, sugar & eggs together. Add milk and the rest of the ingredients. Pour into 3 sm loaf pans. Mix some sugar,cinnamon and melted butter. Sprinkle over the top of the loaves. Bake at 325 º for 50 minutes or until toothpick test is clean.
