Slice Apples in a bowl, stir in sugar mixture till apples are coated.
1/2 cup sugar { sometimes I use less sugar}
1/2 tsp. cinnamon
dash of salt
1 tbsp. water

Crumb Topping
full recipe - enough for 2 pies
1 cup sugar
1 cup flour
1/2 cup butter
mix flour sugar first
blend in butter
put on top of apples,
make a apple crisp the same way, but without the crust.

Bake for about 45 minutes to 1 hour or until apples are soft with fork.
