1 c Shortening
2 c Sugar
2 Eggs
1 c Sour Milk
2 t Vanilla

4 c Flour
1 t Salt
1 c Cocoa

2 t Baking Soda
1 c Hot Water

Cream Filling:
2 Egg Whites, Beaten
1 1/2 T Vanilla
4 T Milk
4 T Flour
4 c Powdered Sugar
1 1/2 c veg. shortening

Cream shortening and sugar. Add eggs and beat well. Add sour milk and vanilla. Sift flour, salt and cocoa. Mix with egg mixture. Combine soda
with hot water and add last. Drop on greased cookie sheet and bake at 400 for 8 minutes.

Cream Filling: Combine cream filling ingredients and beat until fluffy. Spread between two cookies to make a sandwich.
