1 c White Corn Syrup
2 c Sugar
1/2 c Water
2 c Raw Peanuts
1 1/2 T Butter
1 1/2 t Vanilla
2 t Soda

Directions:
Directions:
Put corn syrup, sugar & water in a heavy skillet and cook slowly to the thread stage (230). Add peanuts. Stir and cook these ingredients just
beyond the hard crack stage (301 - 302). Remove from heat. Stir in butter, vanilla and soda until blended. Pour the brittle on greased cookie sheet. Turn it over at once and struile (work it out) quickly until it is very thin.
