1 (29 oz) can pumpkin
1 (12 oz) can evaporated milk
3 eggs
1 c. brown sugar
2 tbsp. pumpkin pie spice (found in spice section of grocery store)
1 tbsp. salt
1 box yellow cake mix
2 sticks butter or margarine (tastes good with only one stick)

Directions:

Mix all ingredients in a bowl except cake mix and butter. Pour into a greased & floured 9x13" pan. Sprinkle dry cake mix on top. Melt butter & pour over cake mix. Bake at 350 for 1 hour.

This recipe was given to me by Shelby Mustain at our wedding shower. I have taken it to multiple church potluck dinners. It is a fast variation of pumpkin pie that can serve a lot of people.
