1 1/2 c. brown sugar
1/2 c. shortening
1 egg
1 tsp. vanilla
1 c. sour milk (buttermilk)
1 tsp. salt
2 c. flour
1 tsp. baking soda
2 c. rhubarb, cut small

Topping:
1/2 c. sugar mixed with 1 tsp. cinnamon and as many chopped walnuts as you like

Directions:
Directions:
Cream sugar and shortening. Add the egg, vanilla, and the buttermilk. Mix flour, soda, and salt. Add to the rest of the ingredients. Add the rhubarb. Put in a 9x13" pan. Top with the sugar, cinnamon, and walnuts. Bake at 350 F for 40-45 minutes.
