4 large sweet potatoes
1 8 oz can crushed pinepapple undrained
6 tbsps melted butter or margarine divided
3/4 tsp salt
pinch pepper
1/2 cup crushed saltines, butter crackers or bread crumbs
2 tbsps brown sugar
pinch cloves

Directions:
Directions:
In a large saucepan, cover sweet potatoes with water, bring to a boil. reduce heat, cover and simmer for 30 minutes or until tender. drain and cool. Peel potatoes and place in a mixing bowl; mash. Add pineapple, 2 tbsps of butter, salt & pepper and mix well. Transfer to a greased 2 qt baking dish. Combine crackers, brown sugar, cloves and remaining butter; sprinkle over potatoes. Bake uncovered at 375 degrees for 30 minutes. Garnish with sliced pineapple if desired.
