1-1/2 c. diced carrots
1/2 c. water
1 tbsp. butter or margarine
1/4 c. packed brown sugar
1 tbsp. lemon juice
1/8 tsp. ground cinnamon
1 c. diced peeled apple
1 tbsp. cornstarch
2 tbsp. cold water

Directions:
Directions:
In a saucepan, cook carrots in water until crisp-tender; drain. Add butter, brown sugar, lemon juice and cinnamon; mix well. Stir in apples. Cover and simmer for 10 minutes, stirring occasionally. Combine cornstarch and cold water; stir into carrot mixture. Bring to a boil; cook and stir for 1 minute or until thickened. Simmer, uncovered, for 2 minutes or until glazed, stirring constantly. Serve!
