1 lb Italian Sausage
1 clove Garlic, minced
1 T Dried Basil, crushed
1 1/2 t Salt
1 1lb.can Tomatoes (2-3 cups - okay to use quart of home canned, but cook longer to thicken)
2 - 6 oz. can Tomato Paste
10 oz Lasagna Noodles
3 c Ricotta Cheese
1/2 c Parmesan Cheese, grated
2 T Dried Parsley
2 Eggs, beaten
1 t Salt
1/2 t Pepper
1 lb Mozzarella Cheese, thinly sliced or grated

Brown meat slowly; spoon off excess fat. Add next 5 ingredients. Simmer uncovered 30 minutes stirring occasionally. Cook noodles in large
amount of boiling salted water until tender; drain and rinse. Combine remaining ingredients EXCEPT Mozzarella cheese. Place 1/2 the noodles in 13 x 9 x 2 inch baking dish. Spread with 1/2 the Ricotta cheese filling; 1/2 the Mozzarella cheese and 1/2 the meat sauce. Repeat the layers. Bake at 350 for about 30 minutes. Let stand 10 minutes before
cutting into squares - filling will set slightly. 8 - 10 servings.
