1 c. golden raisins
1/2 c. dry sherry
1 c. wild rice
4 2/3 c. chicken broth
6 T. butter
1 c. brown rice
1 c. slivered almonds
1/2 c. chopped parsley
salt and pepper

Directions:
Directions:
Heat riaisins and sherry till boiling, reduce heat and simmer 5 minutes. Put wild rice in 2 c. boiling broth with 2 T. butter in a double boiler, cook covered for 1 hour. Place brown rice in 2 2/3 c. boiling broth with 2 T. butter, reduce heat till absorbed for about 50 minutes. Saute almonds in 2 T. butter till lightly browned. Combine wild and brown rice, raisins with sherry, almonds, parsley, salt and pepper.
