2-3 lbs. powdered sugar
1 doz. eggs
1/2 tsp. cinnamon
1/4 tsp. ground cloves
1/2 tsp. cream of tartar
1/2 tsp. nutmeg
Brandy
Rum
*This is a large recipe for a party. For less servings, reduce the recipe by 1/3 but only reduce the spices by 1/2.

Preparation of Batter:
Separate yolks and whites. Mix yolks and sugar until real stff. Add nutmeg, cinnamon, and cloves. Whip egg whites until stiff (like Meringue). Fold in cream of tartar. Blend together to form batter. Refrigerate to keep.
Serving:
Preheat a mug and add heaping tbsp. of batter. Add 1/2 oz. Rum and 1/2 oz. Brandy (more or less to suit taste). Half fill with hot water and stir gently. Fill with more hot water and again, stire gently. Top with dash of nutmeg.
