1 dozen ears of corn
1/2 cup of butter or bacon drippings
3/4 tbsp salt
1 tsp pepper
2 tbsp sugar
2 tbsp flour
1 cup of milk

Directions:
Directions:
Cook corn in its own juices plus butter, salt, pepper, sugar in heavy saucepan over low heat for about 15 minutes. Add the flour to the milk, stir, and then add this to the corn mixture to thicken it. Let simmer for about 10 more minutes or until ready to serve.
